Butter Matar Paneer

Ingredients

200g paneer, diced
450g butter chicken simmer sauce
1/2 cup green peas 
1 medium onion, sliced 
2 tsp garlic paste
1-2 chillies, optional
1 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp kashmiri chilli powder 
1 tsp curry powder
1 tsp cumin seeds 
2-3 tsp oil 
Salt to taste 
Chopped coriander to serve 

Method

Heat oil in pan on medium heat and add sliced onions and cumin seeds. Brown for a couple of minutes then add garlic paste, chillies, turmeric powder, curry powder and chilli powder. Mix well then add paneer and 1 tbsp of simmer sauce.

Turn heat to medium-low and cook paneer until it browns. Add peas, remainder of the simmer sauce and 1 cup water. Simmer for a further 10 minutes on medium-low heat to allow the sauce and spices to combine and add salt. Sprinkle with chopped coriander and serve warm. Enjoy!
